I hand painted the original image of Fancy horse on a silk scarf. I love the way the mane flows around the horses neck. I love the way the horses nose is snorting. This artwork shows the beauty of the fluid movements of the horse as it dances around for us.

My name is Karla Kay Benjamin. I am an artist that specializes in hand painted silk scarves & wall hangings as well as Dutch Pour/Liquid Acrylic/Abstract Paintings. While I am a native of the PNW, I attended college at Arizona State University and have a BFA with an emphasis in Fiber Arts/Surface Design. I enjoy working on fabric because when the fabric moves it seems to bring the art to life.
